    Talking engine oil question ..

    hi , just a quick question regarding engine oil ..
    i have 12 litre,s of 05/30 grade oil and i was wondering if it was suitable for my 94 850 turbo ? . and if not.. would it be more suitable in the mr,s 850 tdi (96) ?.. any responce would be greatfully recieved , . cheer,s in advance mike .

    personally i wouldnt put it in either i would say its too thin. wont do any harm but dont think it will last long

    Yep agreed, my Oil filler cap says 10W 40 Castrol on it


    1998 C70 T5 GT Auto, 68k, FVSH, Immaculate inside and out, only mod - poly top mount, its Yellow and no pete i didnt paint it, lol

    Sell it to someone with a Nissan Micra,i used that in my t5 when i was stuck(skint).And 4 days later my big ends were rattling!But everything happens for a reason so they say.I have another T5 now and am well happy with this one.Just i have a t5 for spares now that cost me well into 4 figures,over the space of a year of buying it.So i learnt a lesson about not using the right oil alright,and keep getting reminded every time i look at the car.LOL,Paul..

    Most fords & vauxhalls after 2000 use 5w/30 you should be able to shift it mate.
