    upgrades to the old bus

And so what's been done to my ride in the mean time(maybe of interest for someone)

    1-New triangels(meyle)

    2-New keyless system(to replace the "wonderfull"guard system)

    3-New coolant hoses(silicone)

And here is the view in the engine bay:

    So what's next?

Been in contact with D2-Racing,and they're going to make coilovers for my car,now not available(but in the near future......)

Hope the volvo bunch likes it so far, walter

As said in a previous post, contacted D2-Racing and asked them if they could make coilovers for my car.

They send me a pic to show how it's going to look, enjoy:

Also ordered a catch tank(D1-spec)should arrive soon:

It seems like the grey one gets a bit of tlc.

    Hi Walter,

suspension's looking very nice. Be interested to hear how the ride quality changes, I keep wondering if coilovers are a sensible option for me.

What are the Meyle triangles? I didn't understand. Is it another name for the wishbone arms?

    Cheers, Pete

All looks great Walter! Makes me feel quite ashamed that my engine bay doesn't look that tidy!

There is an American company making coilovers in the same shape as those with the adjustable top plates also. A full kit come in at around £1200 the last time I looked when the pound was poor.

OK. Maybe you explained this already but what are the 'triangles'? Cos they look like brake-disc-sized boxes to me. . .

Well something bad happened today, just got an e-mail from D2-Racing in wich they said, they don't want to make the coilovers afterall since the market is too small(for designing a new set, since there wasn't one for the 850)according to them it isn't worth the husttle
So now i'm looking for something else, any ideas anyone?(i know KW does them, but want something else)

    gr,walter
