    ha ha bet they don't like that

    been & picked up the ST gearbox today, & found this on it


    all those Crocus owners who deny Volvo had anything to do with the ST & say its all F*rds work must love seeing that lol

    Lol, its even got the same O/S bearing mounting

    I loved F...Fo.....For ah crap just say it Lee ( FORD ) when i was younger.

    I had a Sapphire 2wd Cossie with 500bhp or there abouts ( Reg E424 TSD ), till i went on holiday and come back to be told it was hiab'd onto the back of a flat bed truck

    mate had a Bimmer stolen the same way, took him a fortnight to notice it missing lol. Looked thru the CCTV & got the recovery truck drive passed then come back & pick it up on video, never got the car back tho

    its my grandads from 16years ago. He kept it garaged till sundays when it got took round the block, parked up then washed & polished. He eventually sold it & brought a 1.6 Sierra

    it appeared on ebay last year, we did go & have a look at it with the intention of buying it back for him but the dreaded tin worm had started to take hold. We didn't tell him we'd found his old car because he'd of been devistanted with the condition of it

    thanks. TBH they are pictures from ebay last year, but in the flesh the paint was very patchy & say had alot of rust underneath. Think it had only done about 50miles in the 15years since my grandad owned it

    Actually, if you get the 5 pot block out of an ST, 'Volvo' is embossed in the back of that too, just by the oil cooler.

    i don't know if we should be so proud of that considering the problems they've had with the engine

    Its the Ford 'in company' parts sharing scheme. You find a lot of Mazda parts on the smaller model Fords. Fords aren't really fords these days but an amalgamation of all the parts from the parts sharing scheme that last longer than their original parts used to.

    our Volvo handsfree kits also list Aston Martin as the same fitment so i guess it could be worse
