Enigma Ive used the same paint as the Yellow Calipers, its heat proof and covers very well, when i got the caliper paint i did my calipers with 4 coats, ive coated all those bits twice and ive still got half a tub left. I origonaly had a half litre so it lasts very well.

I have a strut brace on order it was despatched by Rufe this morning

    TC

I cleaned everything very thoroughly with brake cleaner then coated everything in 2 coats of grey primer.

    YellowT5R

I did think about the Silver but didnt think it would stand out as well as the yellow.

Hi Lee, brake cleaner eh?, that's a new one on me. Provided you scuffed the plastic up first you may not have any problems(especially on the metal parts), however you should have used a pastic primer. You may find that the paint lifts and starts to crack/fall off, hope it doesn't because it looks like you put a lot of hard work into it, why didn't you ask for advice before starting?, I could have told you what to buy.

I used the same primer on my sparkie cover before when i done it white with black writing and it lasted this long without lifting or cracking

Any suggestions Craig for the Strut brace ?

I know theres not a lot of area width wise but i should be able to do something on there

Nice idea, not sure on the colour but at least you are prepared to go the extra mile with the detailing
