wont 1200 grit wet n dry take them out ? or something finer
Not sure TBH
I could give it a go in a couple of days perhaps
Give the rest of the paint and primer time to dry and harden properly.
Cheers for the suggestion

get a good rubber block, some 1200 and then 1500 sand paper, rub it wet gently so as not to tear the lacquer. then dry it of and make sure the run is out then compound it again gently so you dont burn the lacquer. it will take a few passes with the buffer to take the sand paper marks out. should look good after that.
hope this helps

if i was you fella id use p2000 to rub it down and try not to go through the laquer and then all ya need to do is tcut the light scratches out mate
Lee, you've still not said what it is you've painted, or what with. Come on, don't keep me in suspense.
