good point, never thought of that

So are you keeping your fog lights standard? Just thought matching the white light would look nice but you are right, they wont be serving their purpose if changed to LED.
i would like to HID them as well as the full beam bulbs, but there not as important yet

Still not sure about the 5 LED or 9 LED...I guess the best way would be to order both and see which ones work best.
i'd probably be tempted to go for the 9's, having them too bright has got to be a bit better than too dull

Hey fandango, any chance of posting some pics of how the LED sidelights look in daylight? Just want to see how noticable they are compare to stock.
    Thanks mate.

Ahh..I see what you mean. Not too sure about getting LED sidelights now, as I prefer the stock sidelights during the day but at night LED looks far better.

I've like the fact the Volvo has DRLs as I am a firm believer in that lights are not only to help you see but are also there for you to BE seen.

....hmm perhaps standard sidelights (yellow) with HID kit for main. That way its best of both worlds.

Either way, thanks for taking the pics.

The HIDs still not brought up a warning message in the dash?

tbh the only reason i brought LED sidelights is because with the HID's on you can see a very slight yellow twing from the original sidelight bulb

I've like the fact the Volvo has DRLs as I am a firm believer in that lights are not only to help you see but are also there for you to BE seen.
the only reason i was going to get the DRL's turned off was because i thought the lower voltage would play havoc with the HID's module, but its quite happy just to activate them so i've got HID's as DRL's

does sound like a good compromise, & its no problem mate

lol it was fun mate, the tyre blew out on me while on the M42 & just couldn't get the locking wheel nut off. Even the local tyre shop with the air gun couldn't shift it, & the key was perfect & gripping it fine just the iddiot before had done them up a bit too tight.

PS a recirc saw cuts thru alloys alot quicker than the angle grinder

Bonny thinks its christmas, with the sun out yesterday i gave her a quick wash over (old timers will know how rare such a thing is) & after a quick chat with Oliver at TMS i switched radios. Even tho the Kenwood unit is a temporary freebie off my bro the sound is WAY better than the original unit. I've still got to put the 18's on the front & going to fit a thicker profile tyre, might even get her lowered a bit

Did you consider trying to grind a slot into the head of the locking bolt & then get an impact driver on it?
