I put one in a few years ago and hated it so it came straight out again ........HOWEVER.......I have since modified mine by drilling holes in it and seem to have reached a pleasing compromise between noise and relative comfort and I've still a managed to keep a decent gearchange ! (the rest of the car however ....)
