    850-less

well my AWD got collected yesterday afternoon and was heading for Aberfeldy, many thanks for the pointers and help... a special mention must go to bomb for un-waivering help it is greatly appreciated.

at this point I don't know if I will venture into volvo land again as the keys for my Alfa will need to be prised from my cold, dead hand and having bought THIS I don't see me needing a 2nd car for a loooong time.

Well at least you broke even with the volv just, after all your problems.
Good luck with the caravanette it will probably cost more to run but its better than lugging a caravan around all you need now is a micra and a trailer on the back.
I might see you around when im down your way.
Is the bulkhead etc good as the Talbots were notorious for getting infected with rust?.

You can use an A frame, these bolt to the steering arms of the car and then you can just tow it behind the motor home, the car steers itself(sort of).

cheers guys, pretty much break even on the 850 so happy with that, not many cars you can use for 3 months for free

as for the bus, the chassis is pretty much rot free, these things tend not to get used in winter so no salt

no plans to tow a car, kind of defeats the purpose to a certain extent... although I do have an a-frame already

No probs mate, its nice to know I can help sometimes, especially us awd owners as we're a dying breed LOL.

Good luck for the future buddy, and don't be a stranger.
