4 letters......SHI & i think the last letter was a T.
a single gear variomatic......less power than an electric drill,
powered by 2 big rubberbands underneath........awful car.
other than that they are quite good.lol
Why not aim a bit higher and buy a Sinclair C5?
my dad has a 300 series with the lakky band transmission. it was a bitch to get right and maintain. best thing that happened to it was when it was scrapped.
i had an early 343 with a factory lpg conversion..loved it!!...if yer gonna go for a daf, think the one to have is the marathon coupe thingy..actually quite rare and sought after!!
Probably long since forgotten bud. Know where you're comin' from though. '80's child........
I regularly drove my Grandad's 86 (new shape) 340DL. It was a cracking car and felt really solid and sound, plus the heater would melt my face - it was so powerful! There are few cars these days that are as well built as the 300 series.
