Hard to believe my little '89 360GLE 2.0 came from the same factory. Was a brilliant car and the reason I now have my T5. Bought it for £130,MOT'd it 3 months later and it went through without so much as an advisory. Fond memories...

I regularly drove my Grandad's 86 (new shape) 340DL. It was a cracking car and felt really solid and sound, plus the heater would melt my face - it was so powerful! There are few cars these days that are as well built as the 300 series.
