Thanked 9 Times in 9 Postswhen I checked my gul a few weeks ago, before this thread, I noticed rust in exactly the same place. It seems to be the bracket holding the wing on that starts it off. I got a secondhand wing, totally rust free, from ebay. Just need to get it resprayed now!

Anybody close to Oldham fancy painting my bumpers ?
Small areas im okay with but their a bit too large for me to go at

About £7 for 1/4 of a litre, then hardner and whatever else i need and they can mix the exact colour you need while you wait, they even do 400ml aerosols for £10.79.

Thanked 27 Times in 22 Postsahhh better to check an have it cured before you get to my stage!!! well i found some more on the inner wing,.. so scraped it off along wit some of volvo underseal,. have sanded it back,.. gave a good lashing of krust,.. and once thats done its magic ill spray it all wit some rust primer an a topcoat of tetroseal...think itll be very rust proof for now.
gonna paint back of the wings and underseal under the sills... i know theres a rust issue there too.Past
