    KnN induction

I stumbled across this and was wondering if it would work in my s60 d5? (04 plate 163bhp w/ map now 193bhp).

    http://www.potn.co.uk/p1505657.htm

it is either this or i go for a panel filter.
plan is to upgrade turbo, injectors etc.. in a 2-3 mths so thinking about which option is better.

    thanks in advance

ps.. the model number of the panel filter on both the xc90 and s60 are the same. so i guessing the induction kit would be the same size, just different pipework (assuming the kit has larger hoses).

K&N panel filter would be best. You know it will fit, cost less & do just as well!

Flushing money down the crapper IMO. just stick with the standard paper style filters and replace it regularly, or at most get a ''performance'' replacement panel filter.

i started off with the K&N 57i on my T-5 & must admit it sounded lovely, but it wasn't till i changed to the Pipercross cone that i noticed a difference in power so recommend looking at them instead

as i've said on here before, i've used both open & closed filters on the drag strip & the fastest time i've recorded was with a open cone filter. Even beating running a sealed pipe from the MAF to the grill intake with no filter at all

not sure tbh, what you need to do is remove the airbox & measure the collar on the MAF sensor & just get a unversal cone to fit that
