is the running gear brakes shocks etc the same in the s70 t5 as they are in the R version as if i buy a s70 T5 i still have my old R springs and wonder if they would fit and also lower it ?

Normally the r suspension is lower than the t5 suspension and i think the brakes are bigger and for the running gear do you mean drive shafts as they should be the same
thought the brakes would be the exact same, what i meant was would my old springs fit the t5 shocks ?

The "R" versions are 20mm lower that the T5 versions. 1390mm as apposed to 1410mm.
I had R shocks and springs on my first T5 and they were a straight swap
1998 C70 T5 GT Auto, 68k, FVSH, Immaculate inside and out, only mod - poly top mount, its Yellow and no pete i didnt paint it, lol
wouldnt the R shox be shorter to compensate for the lower height in the spring ?
