    If the carpet is wet on your side then check the passenger side too because that's the side where the water pipes are, make sure you don't just give it a quick look, lift the carpets and have a feel underneath.

    sourced a brand new heater matrix and a pollen filter hopefully that should sort it out foot well on the passenger side is ok


    hi there people just noticed that the radiator cap has a a split in it and it has a few cracks in it could this be the problem of my misti windows

    problem sorted cheap fix 62 pounds for meater matrix and 80 pounds labour (mate owe'd me a favour LOL)

    Heater matrix sounds a very common fault reading the tread. I'm not sure if mine is on the way out or not, most of the time the climate control works fine with no steam on windows, but occasionally, normally on a cool damp morning, the air con will refuse to kick in the compressor and hey presto... steamy window that refuse to de mist until after about 30 mins driving with full heat. On the odd occasion the air con will kick in and this seems to clear the windows almost instantly. A strange one, any ideas other that the usual check for water / pollen filter? I'm confused as to why the air con does not kick in.
