    just fitted a Rica 304 i won off fleabay to mine and the power is brutal but moreso the mpg has gone up from 25ish to 28 which im mighty impressed with

    on the contrary (sp?), this morning seen me wheel spinning from 20mph all the way upto 60mph LOL

    Congratulations to all. As previously said, a potential can of worms bearing in mind previous similar discussions! No side-taking/side swiping, just a lot of helpful advice which is useful to me too!!

    lol, yeah...i bid this one up to £48 then he said it wouldn't work for mine glad you got it, i was dubious it was real, but nice to see it is.......hope you like it?

    yeah, its always a concern buying something like this, but it came from a V70R 2wd and mine is the S70R so perfect match really. opened it up at work (work in the electronics industry) and the chip appears genuine Rica and very good solder work.
    plugged it in and immediately felt the effects, car feels really lazy and docile around town with loads of low down torque. But in sports mode its just an animal and you have to more progressive with the throttle as i found out this morning LOL

    got a few more subtle mods planned ala downpipe air filter (panel) and boost gauge / oil temp gauge and perhaps an afr gauge so i can keep a close eye on what the engine is doing
