    Speed limiter

What usually happens when you hit the speed limiter 155 on a 98 S70R

On the way to work this morning I was accelerating down the A7 Autobahn just outside of hannover and i was more focused on the road than the speedo but at around the 155 mark the car seemed to cut boost and slow down to around 150 then picked up again it did this twice before i eased back

Its a 4 speed auto with a rica 302 map run on optimax
i was under the impression the remap raises the speed limiter
but also heard the autoboxes have limiters on but dont know how they limit the car

while on the subject of auto boxes can these be reprogrammed as they have ecu's of there own
I would like the economy setting to shift earlier than it does say 4k rpm on full throttle rather than taking it to the red which it does now

    Cheers Rob

about 5500 - 5800 ish or that could have been just after it slowed a fraction

it wasn't like an normally aspirated engine rev cut where it cuts for less than 0.25 of a second more like a whole second
