genuine pegs on a V70

hi people, im putting Genuine 18" pegs on my 97' V70R. wouldi need spacers????

as when i had the nebulas on it, the rears would catch at the back where the wheel arch liner studs are.

also, what is the best tyre spec, im thinking 215 40 18?????

i had 18" pegs on my phase 1 v70 t5 with 225/40r18 tyres, it only ever caught on full lock on the front wheels.

no spacers where used and the car was lowered on monroe dampers with eibach springs.

were they genuine pegs, as the reps were 18" X 7.5, and the genuine are 18" x 8. slithly wider.

im not 100% sure on that, i cant remember if they where gen or not. sorry
