I think the most I have managed to fill is 73 litres - hell of a weight of fuel.

I reckoned it was best to fill half way as the 'fuel' is not dragging around dead weight (if I am on a long run then I will just fill to the clicking...)

Most I have ever had was about 460 - mostly I get between 350 and 380. And yes it costs quite a lot!

I brimmed the tank of the R to go to Oxford for a training course yesterday. There and back (300 miles) and just under 5 gallons left! Off to Llanelli in it in the morning via the petrol station.

In my T5 I was getting same between 300 (driving excitedly) and 400 (granda driving). However as said on another thread I'm only getting 280 in my 10v 2.4 V70 and thats driving easy!!!!!

I'm getting around 150 miles for about £30-£35. I'v not filled my s70 to the brim since i got it, 70 litres of v-power would be over £80. As long as it stays over 20mpg i'm not to concerned, its the price you pay for having a big powerfull car, i suppose.

filled her up yesterday and have done 400 on motorway and A roads up to perth. thats the flat areas, the south downs and the lakes. lots of hills only a couple of minor queues. that was 73 litres of fuel at £119.9 p/l and thats standard 95 ron sainsbury's fuel. not bad concidering the computer showed tank range of 310 when i filled her up! i think i need to take a look at the pcv though
