    Exclamation tyres change

    is it possible with tyre irons and lots of shouting
    to change ones own tyres ??? I can rememeber years and years ago
    people owning tyre irons
    after all its just a big push bike wheel LoL

    i have no idea, but i can't see why you can't. those lot in the artic do it themselves with help from some lighter fluid!

    when I was in the forces ( REME ) we'd do it with iron bars a lot of shouting,
    a fair bit of blood, then few beers, LoL but it was on 110 rovers ;-)

    your more likely to do more damage than good with stiff-walled low profile tyres.
    you,ll also chip the paint, damage the metal and invite corrosion.

    bad idea IMHO

    Agreed for the price they charge to fit tyres its pointless trying to do it your self

    Decent tyre bars are £25-30 each and like pete and nath said for the risk of damage to sidewalls and rims not worth it IMHO
