My 1999 V70R AWD has developed a bit of a thump when changing to 4th gear, particularly on a trailing throttle. I recently had the front propshaft coupling and engine mounts replaced so doubt that is the problem. Auto gearbox fluid has been changed regularly.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanked 1,393 Times in 1,068 PostsSounds like a sticking solenoid inside the gearbox. Does it hesitate on gear change and does it do it at nice gentle driving or hard acceleration? Need more info dude.
