1/4 mile anyone? Essex events coming up

Ladies and Gents,
If anyones interested, there's a good few 1/4 mile YWYB days coming up at North Weald in Essex. It's run on the basis of the first 200 get to run, entrance is cheap to watch, and about £25 -30 to do as many runs as you want.
I've done this twice before in other cars here, and it's a really really good day.

There's about 5 or 6 dates this year i think.

What are the dates for this Rob?

It's been a few years since I last went to one of these.
Not that I'll run my V70, but the MR2 Turbo might.

10th May and 14th June are the first dates....more through the year.

Official entrance from 9am, but if you want to do some runs you need to get there by 8.30 at the latest..........

Well I did nt blow the car up, which is just as well, as I'm going to the Lake District in it at the end of May!
I managed 15.8 secs at 91 MPH in it, not bad for a 14 year old very old bus. The traction was pretty poor, as I was wheelspinning in third, but I suppose at least thats easier on the transmission!!
A good day out, but the only other Volvo there had a TVR engine in it!!
