    alarm fob, locks but wont unlock ???

    as above really,

    only started to do it today ,,changed the battery and no change,


    any ideas guys ?

    One of mine is doing exactly that too, bit of a pain to unlock it with the key, set the alarm off, then stick the key in the ignition to stop the alarm. i`ve changed thebattery and the front cover/buttons and still no difference!

    ok..

    i replaced battery,,no joy

    so i took it to bits and gave it the old air duster inside on the switches.

    didn't work immediately, but just started working again about 5 minutes after that ???

    on your fob is there two buttons one to open and one to unlock if so i would say one has got a bad contact

    mine was strange though, as button was definately clicking

    and would open the boot with the other button ( yet i still changed battery ) Lol

    i am taking it as there was a bit of crap in the micro switch, and airduster has solved it, as its been back to normal since.
