    Leather treatment- photo results

    I am currently in the process of restoring my T5 to it's former glory, and bought some leather dye effect balm from eBay and started on the drivers seat as it was by far the worst, with cracked panels, revealing the unstained leather underneath. To be expected for nearly 15 year old leather, but it does detract from the cars interior.

    I started with this...

    And after literally half an hour with the paste and some clothes (and a little elbow grease..

    The paste is about £10.50 delivered, and has filled the cracks with colour, greatly reducing the way they catch the eye. It's also made the leather smell good again too. Ignore the difference in shade, it was just that I took the after photo's from a different angle witht slightly different light from the sun.

    Post some pic's up. If the cracks/ wear need a a pigment, probably not.
    If they are a similar shade, you'll proably get away with it mate.

    Does it soak into the leather ok?
    Might be worth emailing them to see if it's safe to use on the stitching.

    @Pandamedic,
    I've seen your seats on Hallsy's post about the 1/2 leather seats. I would think the neutral stuff he does would work, or certainly help.
