You get air suspension like I had custom made on my Volvo 740, it lowered it about 15cm lower than standard ride height and then I could get it up again to just over standard height at the touch of a button! It also handled VERY well, no sway, but then I did also have IPD anti-sways on so........
It was awesome! When "White Van Man" wrecked my 740, I stripped it and sold the parts to friends in Sweden, here is a photo of the heavily modified 960 the suspension is on. Its a 960 with V90 front, V70R front bumper etc etc, heavily modified. He can't get his as low as mine went due to the Work Equip 19x9.5" wide rims in the front!

altho i did only drive it for about a mile like that it didn't rub & that was with the liners still in
tbh i don't know much about coil-over but even then you might need custom springs if the shock body isn't threaded enough to get it that low. You could go air/hydro but from my experience its very expensive & you'd be gutted if you don't go the whole "performance killing" mega install with about 6-7 batteries.
you can get it that low very cheaply ie cut the springs & weld them in (or remove the springs altogether) but i certainly wouldn't reckon that. Even that low it still could be used daily if your sensible & drive carefully
This is mine with 40mm lowering springs from Gmax, handling is alot better and the ride isn't too bad aswell, would recommend them for the price.
Only got it done on Tuesday so there still settling in.
