RT MECHANICS (Saturday 21st March 2009)
personally russ was asking if tim had figures (evidence) on his comment about the 500bhp daily driver... but thats ended now by the looks of things. just to clarify ... boring is increasing the cylinder diameter and stroking is kind of liek shortening the con rods yes?
Matt
ps i get confused sometimes and just making shure
correct...
ahh gd gd so the question still remains boring or stroking? can i add which is cheaper? (if its not obvious) what are the advantages of boring over stroking or stroking over boring?
on the T5 engine, unless you have lots of money, there's no point, it seems, but if you're asking about the 740 or 960, then one of the other guys might be able to answer that one...
not particularly a specific engine, just in general really? or is it a personal idea thing?
