finished off the fastenings for the front bumper today. It needed some locating pins in the middle to keep it in place & to support the weight of the bumper, so made a 10mm spacer & used them along with the normal middle bumper bolts & drilled the holes in the reinforcement bigger so it would slide over them. So now takes less than 2 minutes to undo the 2 end panel catches & pull the bumper off, takes a bit longer to slide on but nothing too bad
Well done mate. Paintwork needs a bit of attention now though

thanks, another job off the list
think all the panels have quite major scratches from the cutting/drilling they've had, still not sure what colour to do. Took the bonnet off the other day & propped it against the wall while i worked, wind blew it over & it slide down the drive on its painted side, that didn't do it much good lol

If you fancy it as a really cheap and possibly effective solution I have the complete Decal set for a replica 855 Touring car. I realise that you have a saloon and that it is red but with some modification you could cover alot of the car and do a good job. Would definately make it unique, you can have them for free mate and can pop them over when I bring you the gearbox.
Arguing is pointless....she may not be right but she's never wrong
Tell her a remap is just having your satnav updated.....
