nowt in the paperwork mentions anything to do with a remap, but I'm sure that ECU's been fiddled with, at some point in it's life....

lets see if hamish can shed any light....

are there any known remappers in the cornwall area?

    Hiya,

measured the drivers seat from a CD spec model (full leather, heated, electric) at 27.5KG today. The passenger is heated, full leather but manual - I'll try and measure that within the next week or so...

    Cheers, Pete

got the dials fitted back in, used a piece of alloy L section screwed to the column support then the dials screw'd onto that. It does need a top bar to stop it wobbling but that won't take a minute

i couldn't resist seating in the seat & strapping myself in, doesn't feel like a Volvo anymore lol

so far i've removed 150.6kg, thats no including the carpet & a few other bits & pieces which went straight in the bin. I'd of liked to get it to just around 1000kg, but been convinced 1100kg is a bit more realistic. We shall see
