    what a awesome car! ive seen this car outside my house and always wanted to ask you what you had done to it but never got the chance.
    if i see you again ill have a peep if you dont mind

    Hi David thanks for the comments, i'm afraid i'll be in the 5hitroen for a while yet, but once BT's back on the road i'll take you for a spin when i'm about

    both my bro's have had a couple of Vauxhall's but must admit i do like your estate, the ewer wheels & bumper really finish it off well

    rear seat back 21.9kg
    rear seat base 6.5kg
    rear seat belts 3.3kg
    roof grab handles & interior lights 1.3kg
    armrest 3.4kg
    dashboard including top (no dials or controls) 10.8kg
    door cards (x4) 9.6kg
    pillar trims including front seat belts & pre-tensioners 5.3kg
    screen wash bottle (full) 5.7kg
    Total 104.2kg

    i'm trying to find the weight of the original Volvo seats because i reckon there is a good weight saving there, my bucket seats (including runners & harnesses) weigh just 15.5kg each

    ah don't you worry Gary, the list has gone upto 104.2kg now & thats not including the carpet & all the sound insulation which got put straight into the wheelie bin

    the socket set's been out again, window winders & SIPS blocks now binned. Another 8.6kg gone taking the total to 111.3kg so far



    PS i'm desperate to get the weight of a factory seat i've anyone has got one they can weigh

    I have one not sure if the digi scales are working though, will try and get it for you by the weekend, i have a non elec leather if that is any good?
