i got to fire up the new angle grinder this morning, its still cold & wet out there so didn't do much. The new Bosch grinder is just so much better than the £7 B&Who specials, cuts so much faster i couldn't keep the line straight lol
because i've cut all the internal strengthening out of the bootlid it flexs very badly & i was worried about it bending when put on the floor, so i cut it in 2 lol
& for very hot days it can be used for ventilation lol
& with both panels in place you'd never know, i've got a few more panel clips to go on yet
Jeeeesuuuuuusss, you only just got the bloody thing, it'll be worn out by new year

Your one brave man pedro
if it starts sagging, just put back the last bit you took out. I'll let you have a rip on my welder if you want, just get the ice rink out first.....
p fandango (Saturday 2nd January 2010)
how is the ice rink coming along? surely not all melted yet?
woke up this morning & the rain had washed the snow away & i could see BT again, braved it & got the angle grinder fired up
i think somethings missing
yep this bit lol, i am going to put an alloy panel over once i've finished. I'd like to move the petrol tankl mounts so i can cut some more of it out
she sits a bit high now, now at 268.7kg removed
looking good pedro i dont know if ive asked you this but how about a fuel cell with rought a 40ltr tank or even more drastic and 25ltr one
p fandango (Saturday 16th January 2010)
the only thing putting me off a fuel cell really is that i want to be able to use it for decent runs, Nurburgring being one of them & for weekends out. I really need another fuel tank anyway as i screwed into the tank when i was mounting my stereo amplifiers so might be a better option
