again i haven't done much on BT but did get the intercooler put back on tonight, with the ME7 manifold bypassing the intercooler wasn't going to be easy. The turbo pipes are going to nice & short once its all done. I had to make new brackets up to fit it back on because they normally bolt to the radiator has gone

spent 5 minutes today seeing how the new turbo pipes will have to go, worked out very well & managed to use all the existing bits & had a 90degree save

the main change, the intercooler bottom hose to manifold pipe

haven't had any time to do anything recently, got a few things sorted & got 4 wheels coming (actually 2 x perfo, & 2 x columba's but no-one will notice lol). I'm also getting a turbo-tuner ecu once i get some pennies friday, got loads of other things i want as well but depends how much the taxman robs off me

i'm also looking into converting BT to RWD, after talking to a specialist who's told me the weaknesses of the AWD/transfer box i'm very tempted to give it a go. Just need to find a AWD rear axle & M58 box

my bro's told me he's buying a car trailer, so aslong as i can get her in a reasonable condition & back up & running should be at Bruntingthorpe. It'd be nice to drive her there but we shall see

even with a week off on i've managed to sort quite a few bits for BT. At the peterborough show, met up with a mate who gave me a pair of Columba's. I also got myself an unbelievable bargain on a crash helmet, was advertised for £70, talked him down to £50 because of a few marks on it, then found i'd only got £40 cash so he took it lol. Got a metre of 45mm silicone for the radiator pipes as well. Then on holiday i kidnapped CallyUK who helped me get a Saxo power-steering pump from a local scrappy (the ebay one never turned up), also thanks for letting me have a drive of Amber, very nice to get behind the wheel of a T-5 again (just a shame about the gearbox lol). I also picked up a pair of rear fogs to go on the parcel shelf, going to use them as high-level brake lights & have them switchable as marker lights for night racing. Just got to fit it all now then lol

got a house full of bridesmaids this morning so done a bit more on BT to keep out the way lol. Finally cut & drilled the box section for the proper radiator mounts, alot stronger than the alloy, also picked up 3metres of 0-gauge wire to rewire from the battery to the kill switch. Got some longer bolts so the throttle body is mounted properly onto the ME7 manifold now, got to drill the final 2 but its stronger enough & sealed well without them so not panicing about them for now

i've got my eye on "S60 WTF" which i don't think is to bad for £250. I bought BT's plate to read "BIG T5R" but most people read it as "BIG ToSSeR" lol, got that for £400

not done anything major, but did get some more grinding done (rear seat support gone & little unused brackets), fixed the wire in for the battery & got the vac out & cleared the dust out

its so easy to work inside BT with everything removed

wonder if they'll let me race without these lol
