    Smile service light

    Hi,

Just a quick question about the service light that has come on on my C70.
Does the light come on after a set period of time or miles? When I bought the car last year I was told that they'd service it and since then i've only done 4000miles max. If it is down to the number of miles between services then I can try and get them to reset it for me.

Just thinking now, how many miles is it between services?

    Thanks, Dan

the service light is based on both time and miles so 1year or 12k miles. which ever comes first.

    hope this helps

To reset it, hold down the mileage trip button, and whilst keeping it in, turn the ignition so the dash lights light up, and hold the trip in till the service light flashes. Switch the ignition off and back on again, and it should go out straight away

    Thankyou, Goodnight....much love

Yep,seems a fair assumption. Mine came on today and is almost exactly a year of ownership although it's only done about 3K. Seems it's time to employ Mr Draper again!! HTH.
