V70 HU-650 Audio

I have the HU650 w.o a CD changer installed.
Can I install ANY 6 CD changer I want? Ie. one that plays CD R/RW, MP3's etc...or must it be a Volvo cd changer????

I am no expert but I would be very surprised if you could. The connections would be different not to mention the communication.

I guess the stereos are made by a stereo company so if you can find out the manufacturer the might be a possibility one of their changers might work.

i'm sure i've read somewhere that alpine changers are compatible but you may need a com's box for them of something

We have a 6 cd changer OE available if thats of any interest
