Question T5 GLT clocks are dead

Hello all, Ive bought myself an 1997 850 T5 GLT estate, always wanted one.
However, the clocks seem to be partially dead, the speedo doesn't work, nor the rev counter, temp, fuel. and the lcd part only displays the time.
As far as I know it does have the info display.
    The boost gauge works though.
Is it new clocks time? (pardon the punn) if so, how do I get my mileage changed.
Or is this a common thing and easy to sort?

    Any idea's?

Have the small problem on my car but they start working when you turn the engine off and re-start. The reason the boost gauge works is because its a mechanical gauge.

get it apart and check the plugs are connected on the back. Unplug em and give em a clean, try em again....best to check the obvious, could be an easy fix...

    Try this gordon

Half way down the page, pic 2 of the cluster gives you the power wires etc.

They started working again, then stopped again 34 miles later, then started, then stopped.
Now they are on, but for how long I ask?
