    Unhappy Bag of nails

Coming home from work tonite my t5 was running rough it kept losing power .
It would accelerate then die then accelerate again.I pulled of the road switched the engine off and uplugged the MAF sensor I reconneted the MAF
started the engine and the car run ok the rest of the way home.
I started the car up a few hours later and it was idling erratically.
Anyone got any idea as to whats happening as I"m completly baffled.
