whats the difference in driveshafts of n/a and turbo motors,.. are the actual shafts thicker or is it just the outer cv joints that are thicker/stronger,. also are the stock hubs identical or turbo specific?

Hi.
Checked today in work mate. the 2.0 are different than the five cylinder engines. the T5 and the 2.5 non turbo are the same on the outer autos are only different on the inner joints. The early 850 (93 to 94) have a four stud wheel and hub !. After 94 there all the same on 850's with a five stud wheel up to 97......

Not sure what you mean about the 2.0 an five cyl engines tho haha. altho i should have been more specific,... does the 2.5 10v use different cv joints/drive shaft to a T5,... or does the T5 have stronger outer cv joints/driveshaft

Hi. Ye sorry I know the 2.0L is a 5 cylinder as well. I meant all five cylnder engines being the 2.3 2.4 and 2.5 dsl are the some. The 2.0L five cylinder is smaller than all the others.
Hope I am making some sense ( am sober ) ( just ) LOL...........

Ive put a 2.5 drive shaft on one of my first T5's, a 95 m plate.
Wasnt any difference iirc
Just match them up side by side thats probably the best way
