Hey all just checking...
The registration papers say 225/45R17.
The tire size for a V70 with 17" rims is 235/45R17 RIGHT? (That is what I ordered last night before I got the reg papers)

Series 2 V70s use 225/45R17 tyres in the UK & Europe. Whereabouts are you?
Germany but all the American sites said 235/45R17 and i ordered from an American site (i am an American in Europe)
10mm wider than standard
- Speedo will under read by 1.4% - 100mph speedo equates to a realistic ~102mph.
- Surprised if notice anything at the rear
- You will be unlucky to get rubbing at the front.
GL420CDi - "monster truck with 7 seats" . S60 SE EUIV DIESEL - Commuting .
Honda CBR1000 aka Fireblade - "mid life crisis"
I emailed the Company and asked them to hold the order. I'll probably call them tomorrow and order the 225's. I don't want any rubbing like i had on my 850 T-5...it was a pain.
Thanks for the input everyone!
For the P2 V70, S60 and S80, with 17" wheels, the US Market used 235/45 R17, the EU market used 225/50 R17 or 225/45 R17 (with the exception of XC70's which all had 215/60 R17 fitted). The speedo's for each market are calibrated for a certain size of tyre, but i am sure this can be changed when connected to a volvo workshop computer, if you wanted to.
