    remap or v70R

    Hi all..

just a quick question, my motor is the v70 2.5 20v totaly standard engine and im wonering if it can be re-mapped and would this be the best option for it, ie reliability or change it to v70R..also, if it can be remaped what are the costs and gains.

    Cheers

unless its the t5 i dont think any where offers a map for the n/a and really you wouldnt get much/anydifference from a map, remaps are brilliant on turbo cars if you have the spare cash go for the v70r

You wont gain much unless its 140 bhp 2.4 20v they can be took to 170 bhp go for a T5 or an R if you want big performance and they can be remaped for even more!

As already said the gains to be had from a remap on an n/a car are marginal. If you want go you need a T5 and then get that remapped

V70R awd's can be expensive if they go wrong but as for reliability well its a Volvo .....
