Hi a question is it possible to change the rods with the sump off or do you need to take the piston out with the head off?

Pete is spot on, sump of to undo the rods from the crank then pistons out to pull the pins out that hold them there so basically take the block apart

What boost will one of our engines run with steel rods? Assuming the turbo, injectors etc could keep up.

    Hi Saaamon

Depends on the quality of the rods you buy I have run 33 psi so far and would be happy to run more if needed once my block is finished as with everything you get what you pay for.

    Good luck
