302's wont go behind 16's iirc.

I used to have mintex disks and pads on my old Volvo 850 and they were good.

Buy the best you can afford, no point in scrimping on something that will save your car and life

    302's won't fit behind the 850 T-5 16's, but do fit behind S/V70 T-5 16's

To give you a rough idea, I just bought Mintex discs all round and black diamond predator pads, new pins etc from partsforvolvos and the bill inc postage was just over £200 which I though was pretty good

I have Black diamond cross drilled and vented 280mm discs with stock pads on my 850 t5 Auto, i would recommend them as long as you don't mind a little bit of noise under heavy braking!
When i replace the pads i will be putting on EBCs as the stocks have not lasted particularly well(5000miles!)

Problem with vented and drilled discs is that they will chew the hell out of any pad....the EBC's will likely less even less mate...the softer the compund the better they grip but the less they will last...I had the whole setup on a 306 years ago and wasted a set of pads in under 6 months lol
