    Short and sweet...and I'm being serious...grip your (gear) knob with both hands and pull up sharply. Sounds kinda rude, but it works. No cutting or hacksawing required.

    i did try this method but i cud just see me smacking myself in the face, so opted for the hacksaw.

    cheeres man,.. hmm might try that later on cars gnna be off road for a while as i replcae the pcv system so soemthing to do.

    I also tried this method, but even with 19stone yanking away, it looked more like the whole gear shaft would come off before the knob would, hence the hacksaw.

    I am thinking of changing my knob for a MOMO one, do you fancy a carbon fibre one?


    I don't care if you have a T-5, a T-5R or an R......
    ......they wouldn't have existed if my Turbo hadn't forged the path!

    looks cool man,.. gonna stick to my custom on ive got a few ideas to try out though as for custom shifter/gaitor.
