    Timing belt replacement.

    Hello guys just wondered what the changing intervals are for a 99 c70 t5 cambelt change and are any other parts recomended changing at the same time.

    I'm having my 97 V70 T5 cambelt changed tomorrow, and I was told they need doing on my car at 80k, and 160k( mines done 157k). Presume that your's is the same?

    You wanna change the water pump as well and make sure they fit a full kit.Just done on my 850,easiest cambelt chnge ever 2hours tops.

    Thanks for the tip, and I'll mention that when I take it in. Bracing myself for a sizeable bill, with a service/cambelt and the PCV all being done.

    Exactly. I've not used it since I drove it Home on Saturday, as I want the work doing before I use it more regularly.

    dont blame you mate, i know the timing belt is well over due on my XLT but hoping it lasts long enough for me to put the 2.4t in hehe
