In the last few days I have found that when accelerating medium hard the auto box is kind of jumping, like its about to change down but doesnt quite get there. Is this terminal or will a change of fluid help? Where do you top up fluid?

Thanked 370 Times in 267 Poststop it up through the gearbox dip stick tube. Flushing the fluid may help your problem. Other than that I dont know mate.

Thanked 17 Times in 17 PostsPersonally, I would do a complete ATF change rather than just top up the old fluid which has most likely degraded. Use a good quality Dexron III spec ATF and as has been said fill via the ATF dipstick tube.
