I can say that my set did indeed have a sticker saying "Do not use HID bulbs", but i know alot of people that do. HID run cooler then Halogens, so it would not be the temp that would be the issue. The issue would be the projectors being built for halogen bulbs. I dont think its anymore of a problem though then adding HIDs to any car with OEM halogen projectors.

Thanks alot man! Im not running any of them right now. I sold my set because they are really crappy quality and I didnt want to wait for them to fail and have me with a useless set of lights. Right now im working on retrofitting projectors into the OEM lights seen here:

Ill have updated pics with clear lenses very soon.

Kevin its a shame your so far from Hamish ( 121 miles )

Saying that i drove 105 miles to him.

The 280 or the 304 for £150, Bargain

I have an auto and had the 304 done, i went against everybodys advice to go for the 280 as i know i would have been asking myself " What would the 304 be like ? "

Ive never looked back, it transfomed the car, it really shifts very quickly

If you fancy a drive then deffo go to HLM in Bromsgrove.

I like them for that purpose only. I dont really care for the angel eyes.
Has anyone purchased the lamps from partsforvolvosonline.com? It appears that the lamps include indicators that will replace the original front indicators as well. Can anyone confirm this? Can the original halogen bulbs be used for these lamps or do I have to budget for HID bulbs?

Also, appreciate your feedback on quality and performance of the lamps sold by partsforvolvosonline.com as I am considering purchasing these lamps.

    Cheers.
