best way would be take it in to a garage and let them have the pleasure of doing it

a want to do it myself
You can either remove the engine on the sub frame or remove it while the engine is still in the engine bay you will still need to lower the passanger side of the engine to be able to slide the box out of the wheel arch
i figured you might but you did ask for the best way
Clutches in general can be a complete pain to change and quiet often require the gearbox to be completely removed, iv not done one on the T5 but guess it would be the same i.e. gearbox out job. Why vauxhalls old idea they used on the redtop engines where never carried on in ALL vehicles is beyond me 10 mins and the clutch was out and back in.

the easiest way is to take the engine out but when i did myne i didnt have a car lift etc so i removed it with the engine still in its a pain in the bum job but easily doable with abit of knoledge when i did myne it took about two nights after work
main thing to remember is to remember where every thing goes and just take your time
Can be changed in about 3 - 4 hours if you can get the use of a ramp
Done one on a T5R Saloon in about 3hrs 20 minutes last year
Was wel lchuffed as it was my first time, i also replaced the RMS as well.
( Above : Note the box rested to the right hand side, it was rested on a transmission lift )

What is the recommended clutch replacement on a these cars?
And if it is juddery, could it be a blocked PCV forcing oil out of the RMS - fix the PCV and see if problem goes away?
PCV seem to be the curse of both T5 I have owned - and periodically squawky clutch noises.
