    Yeah same manifold mate,....well certainly the same dimensions at least

    Depending on how far you want to take the car I also have the same FMIC kit Andy used sitting in my front room lol

    Will be going for a phase 2 mate, with aircon so that might be tricky in fitting it? Then again the aircon could come out. What mods if any were required to make it fit?

    Bit of bumper cutting is all....Spangoolies posted a how to, looks straight forward enough....out of interest....is there a reason behind the Hybrid? not want to go any bigger?

    I had the 14T hybrid done nearly 2 years ago and never fitted it-don't want it to go to waste but I guess further down the line I will be tempted to go bigger

    I assume you are going with MTE for the remap then?
    Have you sourced all of the other parts yet? Injectors etc? Or did they come with the engine?

    Yeah MTE to do the remap, sensing a hefty road trip one day lol.

    Already have the coilover suspension, droplinks, big brakes, turbo and some other bits and pieces sitting. Not sure about the injectors but theres a whole list of stuff yet to get.

    Did you do the work on your S40 yourself?

    Did the brakes work myself mate, fitted the strut bars etc other than that the car is mostly standard (Except the RICA of course )

    I only asked about your power wants as I have a GT2871R with matched manifold etc needing to be sold and thought you might make full use of it

    Waiting untill I get my valeting business up an running before I get this project moving now. I've only been planning another S40 for 2 yrs already.

    Re previous post- I think Andy took the engine straight out with a crane so I think the injectors will be fitted. Will find out soon.

    I've sold the T4.....got an intercooler setup for it (Full FMIC) with pipe work etc (some welds are required to make it compatible)....full T4 engine (Ph1 with 70K on it)....potentially the GT2871R with manifold and adaptor plate too...not got an exhaust though

    Alright mate welcome to the world of Volvos and the site. As fr all the other stuff you speak of, well I spent two years training to be a mechanic (left cause it was to dirty, yes I know wimp. Grew up since then) and all you speak of just went flying right over my head (should have paid attention in those 2 years). I'm sure you'll get all the info you'll ever need on here, I do. So anyway welcome to the site.
