since losing my job iv put my 850 t5 in the garage as i couldnt keep putting petrol in it and bought a 440 for 250 quid.now its not bad but i want something better.anyway theres a silver t4 saloon on autotrader 10 miles from me.could you run one of them on the dole?

Thanked 72 Times in 69 PostsI've got a T4 and T5 at present. Whilst the T4 is more economical, it is marginal. Filling to the top with V-Power will cost you about £55 and for that you 'may' get around 300 miles if driven relatively carefully.
Parts aren't cheap for them either (well most parts). For a daily runner though they are great fun and I would hasten to say quicker than the T5 (or at least my remapped one is)

Thanked 887 Times in 593 PostsHave to differ on that one - my T4 is better on fuel than any T5 I've driven. I can't get under 30mpg unless I drive like an idiot. They're lighter than the T5s which I guess helps!

Thanked 72 Times in 69 PostsI guess it could also have to do with the fact that a) you tend to drive the 40's harder because they are lighter and more nimble and b) the 10 gallon smaller fuel tank. lol
Also I did say that the T4 was more economical
