    Heater problem

I have a bit of a problem with the heater on my R. Luckily the heat is still coming out when it's turned up full but if I turn it back to 25 or even anywhere below max it just lets out freezing cold air! Anybody any idea what's wrong?

If you have an R then you have climate control, in which case you'd be better getting the codes read first.

I'll give it a try! I have heat when the knob is turned up full but if I turn it down even a fraction it gets freezing! I'm either melting or freezing in it, there's no in between!!

could be a faulty internal cabin temperature sensor of which the climate control runs off.

If he is getting heat then he has flow through the heater matrix.
Also how would flushing the intercooler have anything to do with getting flow through the cooling system?, please enlighten me!

Ignore - was prob a typo - expect badger meant heat exchanger i.e. heater matrix. That would make sense. No one is perfect :>)

I'd agree with 850twr, the cabin temp sensors get covered in dust and give wrong info.
