My passenger window will only go down using either switches.

My local garage has said that it is a faulty switch .

My question is that if it is a faulty switch , wouldn't the other switch move the window up or do I have 2 faulty switches or possibly something else is wrong ?

All answers on the back of a ten pound note .

If it is the switch packs ...how much Rufe ???

I dont know the answer sorry, Im just replying to say "Thats a weird fault" Im sure someone on here will be able to shed some light. I'd say its the motor, but im no expert

it depends what side you require, you could find its the drivers side that is faulty, causing the passenger side to play up, or it could be the passenger side switch.

I have a sneaking suspicision that it will be the drivers side switch pack you will require, as it is the main control unit for the switches. here are all the prices for you:

sometimes the contacts can be cleaned & it may have life still....

Take one of them out... have a proper gander & then look at your options!

Good shout is to get one off rufe as it will work out cheaper & easier to do!

Usually the windows allow a minor amount of water to get into the door... and of course, the switch! Sand paper & care....
