    Stage 0 Tune Up

Apologies if any of this has recently been covered,
Planning a Stage 0 Tune Up - can anyone shed any light on the following:

Fuel System Cleaner - recommended brand?
Spark Plugs - are German Swedish French's (£5 each) suitable? also, can they be changed without a Torque Wrench??
How much Gearbox Oil is required to refill - also, does it need flushing first??

    Thanks in advance Guys,
    Matt....
    Wish I had a Volvo!

    Matt,

Personally I wouldn't use any fuel system cleaner. I use Optimax (or Ultimate or any other super when Optiplop isn't available) which allegedly contains detergents to clean your fuel system but I wouldn't use any other additives.

NGK plugs will do the job just fine. Most motor factors sell 'em. Can't remember what plug no is needed but they'll be able to advise. I wouldn't change plugs without a torque wrench. Do 'em up too tight and you risk getting them stuck in the chamber.

2.2 litres so you'll have to buy three one litre containers. How annoying is that? Especially as it costs a fortune. SHouldn't need flushing, just emptying and refilling.

    Regards

    Andy
