think i'm bosch 4.4 but not 100% sure...its a 97awd. It was on the computer yesterday & i'm sure it s that!!
Mac
If im not mistaken ME7 is 99 onwards, I think the easiest way to tell if your unsure of the year is whether your car has a throttle cable, if so its pre ME7 however if its electronic throttle then its ME7.
def bosch 4.4
Get your downpipe and race cat and get an MBC on then!
ok then...
down pipe first then mbc then re map & I'm done...
Mac
Just do the downpipe with race cat and uprate the rest of the exhaust to 3' front to back, get a new panel filter and a full service and get it re-mapped, you have the turbo that most people change to fitted to your car as standard.
Im sure once the re-map is done the mbc is of no use because the re-map puts the engine on the safe limit were boost is concerned, running an mbc aswell and upping the boost further would probably bend a rod in the block which isnt a good thing!
ok mate.
Thanks for the advice....I will sort out the exhaust first & see how we go.
